Cologne Sauvage by Christian Dior, the 2015 incarnation of Sauvage is the fresh and spicy spiritual successor to the company’s fragrance launched in 1966. The inspiration for the fragrance is drawn from the vast and wild landscapes, and its name is French for “wild.” The scent opens with top notes of pepper and Calabrian bergamot followed by a host of middle notes of patchouli, geranium, vetiver, lavender, pink pepper, Sichuan pepper and elemi. Its warm, woody base consists of cedarwood, labdanum and ambroxan.
